During the fifties on the time of the big immigration of the Jews from Yemen, The one called " On Eagle Wings"; one of the darkest cases took place "The Yemenite children case". Yemenite babies were taken from their parents or disappear from the nurseries were they were sleeping. The parents were told that their baby die, but they never saw a body or a grave. The film director met some of the parents and members of the families, who are still looking for their children, the longing and the uncertainty concerning their child's faith. She also met children who grew up with parents that didn't look like them, Nurses that worked in that period in those nurseries, journalist and people who worked for the Israel government at that time. Each one of them lights the case from a different angle and expose things that weren't discussed openly until this day. |
